It is expected that Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be out early next year and they will boast impressive features. Here's a roundup of the latest details and rumors regarding the imminent devices, including their alleged delay in being released.

Recent news has it that Samsung is planning to delay the release of Galaxy S8 from its planned Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 Unboxed event. It seems like the company does not want to experience the same fiasco that happened with Note 7 so it is making sure that Galaxy S8 will be reliable and explosion free. As such, the phone manufacturer is reportedly strengthening its testing procedure to make sure that every bit and piece of the handset is functioning well.

Furthermore, according to the company's strategy meeting, Galaxy S8 may be released in April instead, and the announcement event will be held in New York. The one-month delay will give Samsung ample time to allow the MCW hype to go down and let the customers' attention eventually shift to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy handset.

The South Korean tech company is prepping up for a grand marketing campaign for Galaxy S8 and there may be multiple changes applied to the device. It is speculated that a fingerprint scanner will be seen in the handset and it will replace the Home button. The handset may also have a dedicated button for artificial intelligence (AI).

Just like what Apple has done to the iPhone 7, the 3.5mm headphone jack will also be ditched from the Galaxy S8. Under the hood, the Galaxy S8 is believed to have Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 and a Microsoft chip that will apparently bring Windows x86 to ARN processors. This would mean that Galaxy S8 can run specific desktop apps such as Photoshop.

Also, the handset may have a bezel-less technology, which was already seen in Xiaomi Mi Mix. However, Samsung has yet to announce the specs of Galaxy S8 so everything reported here has to be taken with a grain of salt for now.
