The latest promo released by FOX suggests that Jerry O'Connell and Laura Bell Bundy could be the antagonists in the second season of the comedy-horror TV show "Scream Queens."

As previously reported, promotional photos of O'Connell in character were leaked. His mischievous and somewhat homicidal look led fans to believe that the actor could be portraying a villain next season. Previous speculations suggested that the hospital will be the setting for many murders and that O'Connell could be responsible for them.

The most recent trailer which is titled "Welcome to the Hospital" bolsters the previous claims. The 40-second promo showed O'Connell dumping a male body into a swamp near the hospital run by Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis). Both Bundy and O'Connell's characters were seen dumping a body, not murdering someone. But it is highly likely that they also committed the crime. Lea Michele, who portrays Hester in the show, already admitted that she won't be back as a murderer.

The network still hasn't announced the characters that will be portrayed by the guest stars. However, O'Connell's IMDB page revealed that he will be portraying Dr. Mike in the upcoming season, while Bundy's revealed that she will be portraying Nurse Thomas.

Fans can expect the main cast — Emma Roberts as Chanel, Lea Michele as Hester, Billie Lourd as Sadie Swenson aka Chanel 3, Abigail Breslin as Libby Putney aka Chanel 5, Keke Palmer as Zayday, Glen Powell as Chad Radwell, and Niecy Nash as Denise Hemphill — to reprise their roles in season 2.

Furthermore, "Teen Wolf" alum Colton Haynes and "Saturday Night Live" cast members Cecily Strong and Cheri Oteri are expected to make an appearance next season.

The second season of "Scream Queens" returns to FOX on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. EDT.
